Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 July 2026

This policy is published live at the store owner's explicit request; we recommend it is reviewed by legal counsel and refined as needed.

At Fiori Jewels, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how and why we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to your use of our website and online store, and to any interaction you have with us by WhatsApp, phone, email, or in one of our Dubai showrooms.

Please read this Policy alongside our Terms & Conditions and our Cookie Policy. By using our website, contacting us, or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.

1. Who We Are & Scope of This Policy

1.1 This website and store are operated by Fiori Jewels ("Fiori Jewels", "Fiori", "we", "us", "our"), a fine-jewellery retailer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We sell certified lab-grown diamond jewellery and our "Real & Rare" natural-diamond line, much of which is made to order.

1.2 In this Policy, "you" and "your" mean any person who visits our website, contacts us, creates an account, or places an order with us. "Personal information" (or "personal data") means information that identifies you or relates to an identifiable individual.

1.3 This Policy covers personal information we collect through our website (our Shopify online store), through our WhatsApp and phone channels, by email, and when you visit or transact with us at one of our Dubai showrooms.

1.4 For the purposes of this Policy, Fiori Jewels is the controller responsible for your personal information.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Identity and contact information — your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number, WhatsApp number, and, where relevant, an identification document you present on delivery or collection of high-value pieces.
  • Order and transaction information — details of the Products you view, enquire about, and buy; your order history; made-to-order specifications; quotations; certificates and proof of purchase; and records of resizing, cleaning, warranty, and diamond-upgrade services.
  • Payment information — the payment method you choose (for example, credit or debit card, Tabby, or Tamara) and related transaction confirmations. Card payments are processed by our third-party payment providers; we do not store full card details on our systems (see Section 10).
  • Delivery information — the delivery address, recipient name, contact number, delivery instructions, and signature or proof-of-delivery details handled by our couriers.
  • Account credentials — if you create an account, the login details and preferences associated with it. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential.
  • Communications — the content of your messages and our correspondence with you across WhatsApp, phone, email, contact forms, and social media, including enquiries, consultation notes for bespoke pieces, and customer-service records.
  • Device and usage data — technical information collected automatically when you use our website, such as your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring pages, the pages you view, and how you interact with our site.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — information collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6 and our Cookie Policy).
  • Marketing preferences — your consent choices and preferences for receiving marketing communications from us.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of sensitive personal data through our store. Please do not send us such information unless it is necessary and we have asked for it.

3. How We Collect Your Information

3.1 Directly from you — when you place an order, create an account, request a quotation or bespoke consultation, contact us on WhatsApp, phone, or email, sign up for marketing, or visit one of our showrooms.

3.2 Automatically — when you use our website, we and our service providers collect device and usage data through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).

3.3 From third parties — we may receive information from our payment processors and "buy now, pay later" providers (Tabby and Tamara) in connection with your payment and their eligibility checks; from our couriers regarding delivery; and, where relevant, from certification laboratories (GIA, IGI, and HRD Antwerp) in connection with the certificates that accompany your diamonds. We may also receive limited information from analytics and advertising partners.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

  • process, confirm, and fulfil your orders, and manage made-to-order production, including our Real & Rare pieces;
  • take and process payments, including through our third-party payment processors and BNPL providers, and carry out fraud, credit, and eligibility checks;
  • arrange delivery and collection, and keep you informed about the status of your order;
  • provide our lifetime after-sales services, including warranty repairs, complimentary resizing and cleaning, and our Lifetime Diamond Upgrade programme;
  • respond to your enquiries and provide customer service across WhatsApp, phone, email, and in our showrooms;
  • manage your account and preferences;
  • send you marketing communications where you have consented or where otherwise permitted, and personalise offers and content;
  • operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and services, including analytics;
  • prevent, detect, and investigate fraud, misuse, and security incidents; and
  • comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, keep proper business records, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

5. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on the following:

  • Performance of a contract — to process and fulfil your orders, take payment, arrange delivery, and provide after-sales services.
  • Consent — for certain activities, such as sending you marketing communications and using non-essential cookies. You may withdraw your consent at any time (see Sections 11 and 12).
  • Legitimate interests — to operate and improve our business, secure our website, prevent fraud, and understand how our services are used, provided these interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws, including tax, accounting, and other regulatory requirements under UAE law.

6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

6.1 Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your preferences, keep your cart and session secure, measure and analyse traffic, and support marketing. Some of these are provided by our platform (Shopify) and by analytics and advertising partners.

6.2 You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, through the cookie controls on our website. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site functions.

6.3 For more detail about the cookies we use and your choices, please see our Cookie Policy.

7. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed and with appropriate safeguards, including with:

  • Payment processors — our third-party payment providers, who process card and other payments securely on our behalf.
  • Buy now, pay later providers — Tabby and Tamara, where you choose one of these methods; they are independent controllers of the information they collect for the financing arrangement, which is governed by their own terms and privacy notices.
  • Couriers and logistics partners — to deliver your order and, where applicable, to arrange in-store collection or insured collection of items.
  • Certification laboratories — GIA, IGI, and HRD Antwerp, where relevant to the certification, re-certification, or verification of your diamond.
  • IT, hosting, and service providers — including our e-commerce platform (Shopify), and communications, analytics, and customer-service tools that help us run our business.
  • Professional advisers and authorities — including legal, accounting, and insurance advisers, and courts, regulators, or public authorities where we are required or permitted by law to disclose information, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
  • Business transfers — if we are involved in a reorganisation, merger, or sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate protections.

8. International Transfers

8.1 Fiori Jewels is based in the United Arab Emirates. Some of our service providers may store or process personal information outside the UAE. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps to ensure it is protected by appropriate safeguards and handled in line with this Policy and applicable law.

9. Data Retention

9.1 We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy, including to fulfil your order and provide our lifetime after-sales services, and to meet our legal, tax, accounting, warranty, and record-keeping obligations.

9.2 Because we offer lifetime services such as warranty, resizing, cleaning, and diamond upgrades, we may retain order and certificate records for an extended period so that we can support your piece over its lifetime. When personal information is no longer needed, we will delete it or anonymise it.

10. Security

10.1 We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. Our website uses encryption in transit, and payments are processed securely by our third-party payment providers.

10.2 We do not store full card details on our systems. All payments are subject to validation and authorisation checks by your card issuer or payment provider.

10.3 No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, you also have a role to play — please keep your account credentials confidential and contact us if you suspect any unauthorised use.

11. Your Rights

11.1 Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • request deletion of your information in certain circumstances;
  • object to or request that we restrict certain processing;
  • withdraw consent where we rely on it (for example, for marketing), without affecting processing already carried out; and
  • opt out of marketing communications at any time.

11.2 To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 16. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

11.3 If you have concerns about how we handle your personal information, we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve them. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority.

12. Marketing Communications & Opt-Out

12.1 Where you have consented, or where otherwise permitted by law, we may send you marketing communications about our Products, collections, offers, and events by email, WhatsApp, SMS, or phone.

12.2 You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails, replying to ask us to stop, adjusting your account preferences, or contacting us using the details in Section 16. Opting out of marketing does not affect service messages relating to your orders and after-sales care.

13. Children

13.1 Our website and Products are intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to place an order with us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

14. Third-Party Links

14.1 Our website and communications may contain links to third-party websites, services, or content — including our payment providers, BNPL providers, certification laboratories, and social media platforms such as Instagram. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy notices before providing them with your information.

15. Changes to This Policy

15.1 We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or the law. The version in force is the one published on our website, dated at the top of this page.

15.2 Where changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to bring them to your attention. Your continued use of our website or services after an update takes effect indicates your acceptance of the revised Policy.
